Top Tech Apps of 2016--Part III

Kevin DennisWhen you’re looking for the right tools for streamlining your company, it might require a bit of experimenting until you find the best fit. Luckily, there are so many options that are available for all of your needs. We covered quite a number in Part 1 and Part 2, but let’s look at some of our other top apps of the year that cover all of your needs.

Project Management
If you’re wishing for 25 hours in a day, you may be thinking about how to improve your day-to-day time management. Enter Toggl, an app that helps you keep track of how you spend your time during your day. Not only is this useful for those who bill by the hour, but it’ll also help you see what your biggest time-suckers are. Still find yourself battling through your tasks? Consider checking out Fiverr, a program that allows you to outsource your smaller tasks for as little as $5.

Another project management tool that saves us time in the office is Wufoo, an online database for you to build and share forms and questionnaires. Rather than sorting through prospect forms, design questionnaires, and the like, let Wufoo keep them all in one secure place. It can even help you analyze the collected data.

Who hasn’t had to click the “Forgot password?” link before? The time spent waiting for the email to come and then changing your password may not be a lot, but I can certainly add up. 1Password is the answer to all of your problems. Simple, convenient, and secure, 1Password stores all of your logins in one place under one master password that only you know. Not only does this make it easier on you, but it also increases your online security.

Social Media--Instagram
Instagram is one of the most used apps today, which explains why there quite a number of add-on apps to help make it #instasimple. Can’t find the time to post something every day? Try out Later, which allows you to preschedule all of your posts in advance. If you’re looking to interact with clients, industry peers, or thought leaders, give Repost a shot to share others’ photos. Instagram’s Boomerang app is another great tool for dynamic images that engage the audience more than the traditional still shot.

For the Couples
For the wedding planners out there, it may be wise to carry a handful of app suggestions for couples who are looking for ideas. Appy Couple is a crowd favorite, as it helps couples keep everything organized in one place from the guest list to the vendor information. Are they concerned about people missing their Big Day? Introduce them to I Do Stream--a website that will live stream the celebration for those who can’t make it!

As you experiment with what works and what doesn’t work, take note and remember what features you liked the best. Only you can determine what is the right fit for you and your company’s needs, so be diligent when it comes to looking for ways to further streamline your daily processes.
