Association Update: Web Welcomes a New Site from SITE

SITE has relaunched its Web site, www.site-intl.org. According to SITE managing director of business development Milton Elbogen, the organization redesigned the site to better meet the needs of both regular users and new visitors. This is the first major redevelopment of the SITE site, which originally launched more than five years ago.

The new site “is designed to display and react specifically to incentive travel and SITE needs,” Elbogen said. A streamlined layout guides users to specific areas of focus for a more productive visit, and divides new and regular users into different tracks depending on how they log on, he added.

The revamped site features membership and directory information, event information, registration capability and a speaker database, as well as comprehensive travel information such as time zones, country codes and currency conversion.

Already, Elbogen noted, the relaunched site “has made a positive impact on how SITE interacts with its members, the industry and the public.” He added that in December, the site's first full month of operation, the “increased value of the site and the ongoing Web-marketing campaign” led to a doubling of site visitors for the month.
