BPM hosts smoking-hot party

More than 2,500 guests--a mix split between celebrities and clubbers--hit the Avalon Hollywood last week for the 10th anniversary party for BPM Magazine, which covers indie/electronic music, fashion, "DJ culture" and technology.

Outside, the paparazzi yelled for celebs including actress Hilary Duff, with boyfriend Joel Madden of the band Good Charlotte in tow, TV stars Danny Masterson ("That '70s Show"), Rex Lee ("Entourage") and Roger Cross ("24") and Myspace founder Tom Anderson.

Media wall sponsors included Audi and Rockstar Energy Drink.

With no food or decor to distract guests, the emphasis was strictly on the music, with DJs Mickey Avalon and AM drawing the biggest wows, says event host Overamerica Media Group, the magazine's publisher.
