ARA honors Begley Bill Begley, founder of Ireland's largest catering and event rental operation, Hire-All Event and Party, has been named by the American Rental Association as an inductee into its Rental Hall of Fame. Begley is credited with "opening the eyes of those in Ireland to the rental concept, with a vision and a business sense ahead of its time for the industry," ARA said in a statement. The award will be giving during the keynote session of ARA's Rental Show in February ...

On the wall High fashion hit the wall in China--the Great Wall. Fashion label Fendi spent an estimated $10 million to stage a fashion show for 500 guests on a portion of the Great Wall of China last week, the Los Angeles Times reports. A more conventional party at a Beijing shopping complex followed the runway show.
