KUDOS

SPECIAL EVENTS MAGAZINE has won a Maggie Award from the Western Publications Association for its October feature “Foreign Affairs,” which gave event professionals tips on producing events abroad. Some 1,000 magazines entered the competition, which has honored outstanding magazine work for more than 50 years. Special Events publisher Lisa Perrin and editor Lisa Hurley accepted the award on behalf of the magazine staff at an April gala banquet.
