Culinary Software Services of Boulder, Colo., and Caterease, based in Naples, Fla., have released an interface that allows their individual software programs to communicate with each other. The interface lets users export recipes from CSS' ChefTec into Caterease to facilitate accurate billing, and allows users of ChefTec Plus to utilize “perpetual inventory” — an automatic inventory tracking system. Northridge, Calif.-based Cheers Catering has been selected as the in-house caterer for The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. The Walt Disney Studios Property Department, located in Burbank, Calif., announces the availability of its props to event designers and producers. The studios' 60,000-square-foot prop facilities house more than 1 million items, including hand props, lighting fixtures, period appliances and wall decor.
