Did you miss turning in your Gala Award entry last week? Here's your second chance. In a first this year, you can submit your Gala entry by Friday, Sept. 15; the fee for "late-bird" entries is $100.

This year's competition is open to events taking place between Sept. 1, 2005, and Aug. 31, 2006. Nominees will be notified by mid-November, and the winners will be named in January at The Special Event 2007 in Los Angeles.
