ISES NY Metro Chapter named top Education Foundation donor

The International Special Event Education Foundation, the ISES arm dedicated to supporting education and professionalism in special events, named the New York Metro Chapter the winner of its recent fund-raising drive thanks to the chapter’s contribution of $1,200 to ISEF. In thanks, the chapter will receive one free registration package to CPD in Sydney, Aug. 2-5.

“We hope you will congratulate [chapter] president Jane White for her outstanding efforts,” said Richard Aaron, CSEP, CMP, vice president of the ISEF board of directors.

He added that ISEF plans to continue its fund-raising drive this year in order to underwrite several scholarships for students attending special event programs at various universities. “We hope to announce another contest in September for The Special Event 2003 in Orlando as well,” he said.

“Chapter leaders are the most important ambassadors for ISEF in helping to funding scholarships, education and research on behalf of ISES, growing our industry’s position as respected professionals,” Aaron said.
