HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS "Our philosophy is to listen to the clients and give them their dreams without disrupting their personalities. It's not about us. We are not divas. We start at zero and try to understand who the clients are. We create an extension of their homes and their environment."

TEACH, NOT PREACH "As an industry, why can't we be educational rather than self-aggrandizing? I would love to see us work together to promote our art and encourage youth to consider a career in our business. We could pull kids from top art schools across the country and have a group of the best event designers put on seminars to teach them about our business."

RENTAL BONANZA "Rental companies should go after specialty rentals. For example, tent poles are so ugly. Why can't someone come up with a tubular-shaped Velcro fabric to cover the poles so I don't have to spend a fortune on yards of fabric to cover it for visual perfection. I really don't want to spend $6,000 of a budget to cover poles."
