Transformit, the Gorham, Maine-based designer and manufacturer of tension-fabric structures, has announced the opening of a 200-square-meter facility in German to store and ships structures to European exhibit, retail and event customers.
“Our roster of European clients—designers, event producers and exhibit producers—has grown to the point where it is no longer efficient to ship properties from the United States,” said Cindy Thompson, Transformit’s founder and president.
The facility will be headed by Lina Newhouser, who will remain in Gorham to coordinate shipping, logistics and installations with warehouse personnel in Germany.
