In time for Halloween, Bella Cupcake Couture offers "Zoe," a stylish cupcake wrapper featuring a paisley pattern accented with skull-and-bones motifs. The wrappers, inspired by textiles, are for presentation of cupcakes only; they cannot be used to bake cupcakes. The wrappers measure 3.25 inches wide and just under 2 inches tall. Other autumn wrappers include patterns of pumpkins and leaves and wrappers in orange and brown. Each design is printed with soy inks on recycled linen paper, the company says.

Intellitix RFID Bands Move into Event Market
Intellitix, which offers RFID technology for access control, now serves not only live events such as festivals but also exhibitions. The chips are inserted in attendee wristbands; to attend an event, guests validate their wristbands by holding them near reader portals. Each custom portal is able to process 2,500 per hour, according to the company, and reduces wait times, ticket fraud and ticket scalping. Intellitix also offers cashless payment systems using the technology, which works with any existing ticketing system or partner.
