Special events news this week includes a new event director at Town and Country and a re-brand for DMC AXS.

Mike Koshimizu has joined Town and Country Event Rentals of Van Nuys, Calif., as an event director.

Denver-based DMC AXS, included on the latest Special Events “25 Top DMCs,” has rebranded to Imprint Group.

PRO EM Party & Event Rentals, included on the latest Special Events “30 Top Rental Companies,” has acquired Universal Resource Supply and SoCal Tents & Events, a Los Angeles-based event rental company. The purchase of URS marks the second acquisition in the last 45 days by PRO EM, which also acquired Illinois-based Partytime-HDO Productions in May.

John Washko has been named vice president of exhibitions and conventions sales at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn.
