Some 58 percent of <a href="http://specialevents.com/caterers/" target="_blank">caterers</a> responding to a recent online poll from <I>Special Events</I> say that picnics remain a hit with their clients.

The cozy appeal of picnics and the desire on the part of many clients to avoid the appearance of extravagance prompted many caterers to add picnics to their repertories over the past two years, at events from ranging from bridal receptions to board meetings. A total of 19 percent of respondents say the trend is starting to cool off, and 22 percent of respondents say they don't offer picnics …
