THE SILENT MOVIE THEATRE

HERE'S LOOKING AT YOU, KID: Built in 1942 in the heart of Hollywood, this movie house operated for decades as the only silent movie theater in the country. Now restored to its original design, the theater hosts events for the most sophisticated film buffs. The local cultural landmark, which regularly screens a wide range of movie selections from silents to cult classics, offers an intimate venue for corporate and social events.

READY FOR MY CLOSE-UP: The theater, which features comfortable, leather sofas and walls lined with framed, black-and-white images of movie icons, is known for its warm, inviting ambience. A Spanish-style patio and bar are available for small gatherings while a private upstairs cappuccino lounge provides a perfect conversation spot. The theater's total capacity is 170 guests. Venue rental includes the theater and stage, film or digital media projection, and a state-of-the-art audio system; gourmet concessions are also available. Clients can bring in caterers and bartenders.

HERE'S LOOKING AT YOU, KID: The French Baroque-style Chicago Theatre, a designated landmark, is a classic venue for corporate meetings, weddings and other private events. Built in 1921, the theater can accommodate groups of 10 to 3,500 people in a variety of areas.

READY FOR MY CLOSE-UP: The venue's event areas include the Grand Lobby, the mezzanine, the downstairs theater and the stage itself. The theater's 3,600-seat auditorium can host guests on three levels; events can also be planned for just main-stage seating. In addition, the theater's back-of-the-house spaces are available for rental.

OF ALL THE GIN JOINTS, IN ALL THE TOWNS: Legendary entertainers Frank Sinatra, Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald have all graced the theater's stage; the venue also hosts Broadway shows and major Hollywood movie premieres.

HERE'S LOOKING AT YOU, KID: When financier John D. Rockefeller Jr., the Radio Corp. of America and theatrical impresario S.L. “Roxy” Rothafel teamed to inspire the Depression-weary residents of Manhattan with a grand theater, Radio City Music Hall was born. The majestic landmark, the largest indoor theater in the world, is available to host large-scale events in a range of spaces.

READY FOR MY CLOSE-UP: The art deco-style Great Stage is the hall's crown jewel, featuring an immense proscenium arch and the world's largest high-definition LED screen; the stage can accommodate 5,900 guests theater-style and 400 banquet-style. The Grand Foyer, with its 60-foot-high gold-leaf ceiling and dazzling chandeliers, provides the ideal backdrop for elegant cocktail receptions, product launches and small business meetings; the space can accommodate 600 reception-style and 350 banquet-style. Featuring cherry-paneled walls, the cozy Roxy Suite is perfect for intimate receptions and seated dinners, while eight private lounges offer several color palette and furnishing options.

ENZIAN THEATER

HERE'S LOOKING AT YOU, KID: Surrounded by oaks draped in Spanish moss, a bubbling fountain and a wraparound courtyard, the Enzian Theater is Central Florida's only full-time, not-for-profit cinema house. Featuring full-kitchen service, plush seating and a state-of-the-art sound system, the theater is the perfect setting for corporate meetings and private parties.

READY FOR MY CLOSE-UP: The theater's courtyard can accommodate 200 guests for a standing reception or seat 100 with tables and chairs. The 75-by-70-foot sloping lawn can host 400 people for a standing reception; electric lines are available outdoors. Interior seating includes 45 tables for two and 25 tables for four; the space also offers six couches and 13 captain's chairs. The theater's kitchen staff creates customized menus for special events and can provide liquor for bar service.
