Aztec acquires San Antonio-based Abbey Houston-based Aztec Party & Tent Rentals announced last week that it has acquired Abbey Event Services of San Antonio. Earlier this year, Aztec acquired the then-unrelated Aztec Events Party Rentals of San Antonio. “Abbey has a great reputation in the San Antonio area,” said Aztec president Todd Johnson. “In 2007, we will be moving the businesses to a larger, combined facility for maximum efficiencies and improved customer service. The bottom line of this acquisition is to offer the Abbey customer base and, more specifically, all of the San Antonio market more selection via a broader product offering including enhanced tent capabilities.” Hageman, Stansberry & Associates represented Abbey in the transaction; terms were not disclosed ...
