The 600 guests arrive at the party to find an event all aglow.
Tall, up-lit trusses surrounded a 360-degree truss bar placed in the center of the space. The bar served as a focal point with guest tables set around it in zigzag pattern looking like the shapes you would find in a Tetris game.
Ghost chairs complement the decor perfectly, providing a chic match for the glass vases and ice sculptures.
Another view of a dining table. The blue-green color scheme represents the corporate brand.
The centerpiece design features a glowing ice sculpture: the perfect branding opportunity for the event sponsors. The team lined each table with clear cylindrical vases filled with glass shards, LED lights and glow sticks.
A view of the clean, modern lounge furniture--while the sun still shines.
The beautiful glowing bar.
Guests get their glow on at the "glow station," where they grabbed glow sticks, wands and body paint.
Cocktails get their glow on ...
And the cotton candy does, too! A dessert station served cotton candy on glow sticks so that the actual candy was illuminated. The resort’s chefs suggested adding glow food coloring to the cake and fried Twinkies.
To keep the dance party going even after noise restrictions kicked in, the event team turned to "silent party" headphones.
Of course, the headphones glowed, too!
Rocking out on the glowing dance floor.
To get guests back on the dance floor for the "silent dance" session, the event team brought in a street disco team. "These dancers were having such a good time that in no time, all headphones were out and the dance floor was transformed into a high energy, but silent, musical performance."
The event offered a wide range of entertainment options, including games and--of course--laser tag.
