Artist Offers Event-painting Service
Artist Heidi Schwartz launched the Paint Your Event service to incorporate the immediacy of photography with the timeliness of paint to create lively, real-time interpretations of events from weddings and birthday parties to corporate banquets. The excitement of seeing the artist paint the event can be a fun way to build buzz at a charity fundraiser; the painting can then be auctioned or raffled off at the end of the evening. Paint Your Event can be hired directly by the event planner or can be added to the wedding couple's gift registry.

Glowing Cubes Serve as DJ Stands, Displays
Event cubes from Ultimate Bars are modular units that can be configured to create a variety of displays for events. Made from durable aircraft aluminum and high-impact plexiglass panels, the lightweight cubes glow thanks to their rechargeable multicolor LED lighting system. The cubes can be powder-coated in any color and come in 36-, 42- and 46-inch heights. Each cube can be fitted with a different top: round, hexagonal or T-top.
