The 400 guests for the Art Gallery of Ontario gala find the entrance sets the tone for the event with the iconic red AGO sign decaled in foil. The stairs are covered in red vinyl,  making it look as though the red sign is melting as guests enter the world of Warhol.

A custom step-and-repeat is created from authentic bricks and paint cans shaped in a heart dripping with color, for a creative photo opportunity.

Heading into the main reception area, guests walk through another paint-can installation with dripping gold paint from the rims, which acts as a taste of what’s to come in the main space.

The reception took place in Walkers Court, the legendary main foyer of the AGO. The first thing guests see are the main bars, which are white plexi-covered with silver paint smears across the front. Below the bars, the team placed 20-foot 3D foil decals spanning 20 feet out, creating the illusion that guests are inside the Warhol Factory.

In the main function space upstairs in Koerner Hall, the doors to the elevator open to reveal dinner in Warhol’s studio. The entire space is wrapped in tin foil hanging off pipe normally used for event draping.

Gunmetal and silver sequin linens add to the design, with black oyster charger plates at each seat.

Now, purple velvet sofas coupled with mirror cocktail tables fill the space. The oversized glasses changed to oversized jacks.
