ISES Live 2015 Announces Community Outreach Programs

ISES Live 2015 announces community outreach programs for SEARCH and EPTA

ISES Live, the international conference for global creative event professionals, will run a community outreach program alongside its 2015 event in New Orleans, which runs Aug. 20-22.

The program, created in conjunction with the SEARCH Foundation and Event Professionals Take Action, will see a number of events taking place designed to raise money for both the local community, which is still trying to recover from the effects of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and a range of other initiatives across the events industry. The events include:

SEARCH Foundation Event

Lagniappe [LAN-yap], a New Orleans word for "a little something extra," will be a traditional New Orleans “party down the river,” which will help raise much-needed funds for a number of local projects desperate for support. Hosted by the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, guests will enjoy riverboat-themed decor, good old-fashioned Louisiana cooking, vibrant music and dancing, and an opportunity to walk away with a number of exciting auction items.  Tickets can be purchased here.

EPTA "Stay and Work" Program

In addition to Event Pros Take Action celebrating its five years helping communities in need, it also marks the 10-year anniversary of the unforgettable week when Hurricane Katrina swept through the Gulf Coast area. As a result, EPTA is encouraging attendees of ISES Live to “Stay and Work” for one, two or three days, working on a number of projects in the local community. Register to participate here.

ISES Live takes place Aug. 20–22 at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside; registration for the event is now open at www.iseslive.com.
