CORT, the nation’s leading provider of furniture rental and transition services, announced the addition of Phil DeSarno to the CORT Events executive sales and marketing team as part of the company’s ongoing strategy to create a foundation of success built on infrastructural enhancements that ultimately support CORT’s goal of creating a higher level of customer service. As VP of sales, marketing, and merchandising, DeSarno will be responsible for enhancing divisional relationships and alignment with CORT’s top clients to drive business development, while boosting CORT’s brand image, and ensuring that sales, marketing, and merchandising are in supportive alignment.

Nth Degree, a leading full-service global event marketing and labor management company, today announced the establishment of a new operating division to drive the expansion of its experiential marketing business. Known as Nth Degree Events, this group will build on the company’s successes with clients like RSA Conference™, Polestar, and others. The organization will focus on delivering a range of programs and services for industry and user conferences, sales meetings, executive summits, conventions, and other programs. Nth Degree Events will also bring its strategic and project management expertise to new types of activations, environments and experiences that are becoming more widely adopted in retail, automotive, financial services, and pharmaceutical industries. The Nth Degree Events team will be led by president Robert Lowe, a 20-plus year veteran of the event industry and expert in event strategy and production.
