Thanksgiving Comes Early: The SEARCH Board Dinner

Following the 2011 SEARCH board retreat, SEARCH chair Joann Roth-Oseary hosted a stunning harvest dinner at her home. Cocktails and appetizers were enjoyed in her cozy living room lit by candles and warmed by good friends enjoying the crackling fireplace.

Board members were escorted into the dining room for dinner. The sprawling dining table was dressed in hunter green textured linen embellished with a runner of fall foliage, candles and hand-blown glass flowers. Overhead, a designer chandelier was created from mahogany twigs, hanging amber glass votives and clear crystal baubles that sparkled by candlelight.

A gourmet dinner was formally served by the Someone's in the Kitchen staff. Guests enjoyed a first course of Pumpkin Ravioli presented in mini pumpkins.

For the entree, guests chose between Filet Mignon ...

.. or Miso Soy Glazed Sea Bass ...

... or Chicken Pot Pie. Accompaniments were broccolini, baby carrots and Potatoes Anna.

To thank the generous board "angels," dessert featured a white chocolate angel that sat atop a gold dusted chocolate bombe, surrounded by a cloud of spun sugar.

Late into the night, board members enjoyed after-dinner drinks, coffee and mini pastries while chatting with industry peers.
