Catering reception at Saatchi Gallery
The first stop is the garden, where guests mingle among the trees, listen to birds chirping and chat with well-informed botanists.
Garden decor includes pretend "ant"
Well, it's a garden, isn't it? An artfully placed "ant" crawls up a garden wall.

Pea canapes
In keeping with the 'garden' theme, mini garden canapes include edible soil topped with pea puree and pea shoots, fillet of lamb marinated in shallots and honey served on branches of rosemary alongside smoked halibut gricibiche. To wash it all down: Make-your-own Garden Martinis, complete with edible flowers, and served in jam jars.

Rhubarb chefs at work preparing a collection of beautiful bowl foods and canapés, including cheese soufflé with English asparagus and minted peas alongside Cornish crab with black tomato and compressed cucumber, tuna tataki with ponzu and edible flowers and, the winner, a lobster soufflé. For dessert, an anti-griddle turned delicious raspberry yogurt into individual frozen lollypops. Guests also enjoyed the exclusive maceringue (macarron and meringue in one) and pretty-as-a-picture cronuts.
