Superstar chef/caterer/restaurateur Wolfgang Puck charms a reporter with his description of the Oscar menu. Headed by chef Matt Bencivenga, the Puck team will offer more than 50 dishes, from one-bite hors d'oeuvre to small-plate entrees that will be passed throughout the evening. Bites will include crispy lobster and shrimp dumplings, the signature smoked salmon "Oscars," chicken pot pie with shaved black truffles, and mini American waygu burgers with aged Cheddar and remoulade. This year's menu will feature an expanded selection of vegan dishes, including taro root tacos with avocado, shots of orange gazpacho, and butternut squash with farro and wild rice.
