For a young woman's 25th birthday party, Lynn Fletcher Weddings transforms a rustic mountain retreat into a pretty pink enchanted ball.
A goodie bag for each guest sits on a fuchsia pillow--a nod to the event invitation, which featured an etched plexiglass invitation sitting atop a similar pillow. Contents include tissues (for teary moments), "prince" medallions for men and faux diamond rings for women.
Table numbers appear on Cinderella coaches.
The princess theme includes desserts served in glass slippers fit for Cinderella.
To create the fairy tale mood, the event team not only had to fight the property's rustic style, they also had to create a unique look because both the honoree's sisters had already celebrated their own weddings there. Here, the entrance to dining room is transformed with birch trees dripping with crystals, and drapes suffused with rosy lighting.

Multilevel floral arrangements march down tables and are pin-spotted for extra drama. Mirrored table runners hold vases of birthday wish cards for guests to fill out.

Six dramatic, custom candelabras rise more than 8 feet above the tables; the height helps rein in the soaring ceiling.
Each of the arrangement's 12 arms features a 26-inch-tall battery-operated taper "candle."

The honoree, who has Down syndrome, enters to applause and cheers from her guests. Her family chose to have the guests in place before she arrived to keep the experience from being overwhelming; her entry appears on a live feed on four screens in the room so that all guests can share the moment.

The first course: Fresh North Atlantic scallops with cauliflower puree, a Parmesan basket, tomato compote and sweet pea coulis.
The third course: Smoked duck salad with arugula, candied walnut crusted goat cheese and cranberry vinaigrette.
To cleanse the palate: pink champagne and pink grapefruit sorbet.
The towering birthday cake: Six pink iced tiers covered in sugar flowers.
The cake is framed between two 18-foot white birch trees; the family head table sits in front of the cake.
