Four Seasons Whistler Offers Airline Credit
The Four Seasons Resort Whistler in Whistler, British Columbia, has announced a new air credit offer that provides groups who book 10-plus rooms per night with a $150 one-time credit for each room booked at the resort. In addition to a beautiful backdrop, Four Seasons Resort Whistler provides distinctive meeting spaces both indoors and out. Highlights include a wide-range of indoor spaces for up to 250 guests, including ballrooms, foyers and view suites offering versatility for planners. Located within steps of the property is the Lil’wat Cultural Center, providing 30,000 square-feet of culture-rich function space for up to 500 people. All of Four Seasons Resort Whistler’s meeting spaces feature state-of-the-art audiovisual and advanced lighting for all types of meetings and events, management says.

Beverly Hilton Debuts Meeting Planner Deal
Planners who book a program at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., that is worth at least $50,000 in net revenue and contracted by Dec. 31, 2011, are eligible for one million meeting planner points in the "Time Well Spent" program. Terms of the promotion are subject to change and are based upon availability. Home to many notable annual events including the Golden Globe Awards, the property offers meeting facilities with more than 60,000 square feet of upscale indoor and open-air event space. The Beverly Hilton recently completed an $80 million renovation and is one of the few hotels in the area that can accommodate groups of 1,000 guests.

Gleneagles Hotel Debuts Renovations
The Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire, Scotland, has recently completed a $4.8 million renovation of its Dormy Clubhouse, including a refurbished lounge area, new sofas and armchairs, and upgraded steward-attended changing rooms with saunas and relaxation areas. Set in 850 acres of the Scottish countryside, the award-winning hotel can customize meetings and incentive programs to the specific needs and tastes of individual groups. A sample itinerary includes Estate Room accommodations, dinner for three nights including a four-course Scottish themed dinner incorporating local fare, a 1920s gala celebrating the era in which Gleneagles opened, up to three rounds of championship golf on-property, fishing, falconry, gundog training and shooting (skeet and rifle shooting and archery); equestrian or spa experiences offered as alternatives for non-golfers. Gleneagles has extended validity dates for its five-day/four-night guaranteed U.S. dollar rate program through March 31, 2014.
