Treasure Island Las Vegas Debuts Event Space
Treasure Island in Las Vegas has completed more than $1.7 million in conference and event space renovations, including a modern look with new furniture, wallpaper, wall furnishings, carpet and audio systems. The property offers three distinct areas: the Treasure Island Ballroom, with a performance stage and 11,808 square feet of space; the Caribbean Room, with 3,120 square feet of space that can be divided into three distinct rooms; and the Mediterranean Room, with 598 square feet that can seat up to 40 people.

Kimpton's Monaco Chicago Unveils Enhanced Event Space
Kimpton's Hotel Monaco in downtown Chicago has debuted new event space, including the Paris Ballroom, which covers 2,700 square feet and can accommodate 200 guests, and the new meetings floor, which offers 4,100 square feet of space. Highlights include the convenience of the hotel's "Concierge on Demand" service, which allows event planners to move the concierge station to the third floor, strategically placed to assist guests in making reservations, arranging transportation and answering questions.

InterContinental San Francisco Launches New Meal Option
The InterContinental Hotels of San Francisco now offer an alternative to traditional bread and butter service for events and meetings. The "Better than a Bread Basket" option includes a selection of fresh crudités, pita and flatbreads with house-made hummus, baba ghanoush and goat cheese dip. The option can be selected as an add-on to bread service or can stand alone as a substitute. The hotel group includes the InterContinental San Francisco and the Mark Hopkins.
