Gala Award for Category Best Event for a Private Individual: Budget $1,000 and Above Per Guest

Rosey’s 60th birthday was cause for celebration, and having a December birthday inspired an anti-theme: no Christmas overshadowing the guest of honor—this was her day. Hosted at her 25,000 sq. ft. Las Vegas estate, the event gathered friends and family together after 18 long months of lockdown and pandemic life. From the get-go, guests were treated to a grand arrival through transportation by luxury motor coaches. Once arrived, guests received sparkling tiaras and floral lapel pins in Rosey’s favorite color (orange), which tinted the palette of décor for the night. And since Rosey’s favorite season is winter, a custom faux ice-skating installation allowed guests to skate along the driveway, while an orange snow globe provided a photo op before an alpine backdrop. Servers dressed in furry earmuffs and gloves served beverages such as Creamsicle Cocktails and Champagne Punch, and they passed hors d’oeuvres of Osetra Caviar with Crème Fraiche, Soy Glazed Wagyu Beef Sliders, and Maryland Blue Crab Cakes with Basil Aioli. A raw bar and sushi station preceded a champagne toast and cake presentation. The night’s entertainment included a jazz quartet, DJ, and a sway pole performer, and others along with A-List comedians Whitney Cummings and Dana Carvey. After the performances, fireworks and an LED drumline led the guests in a rendition of “Happy Birthday.” The guests drank mugs of Bailey’s-spiked hot chocolate before leaving the bash.

Congratulations to KG Consulting Event Agency & Lenny Talarico Productions for producing the heartwarming Rosey’s Birthday Bash!
