MESE 2018 Show Debuts in Dubai

The event and exhibitions industry gathers in Dubai for MESE 2018.

The Middle East Special Event and Exhibition Show 2018 kicked off yesterday at the Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai. Produced by Informa, the two-day event offers event professionals an array of education sessions, exhibits and networking opportunities. MESE is a sister event to Informa's The Special Event.

Atomic's Rob Barber shares 21 trips on creating unforgettable events.

A highlight of the show floor is the education area, where industry experts share their insights on trends. Presentations yesterday included Atomic's Rob Barber (shown above) offering more 20-plus tips on designing "successful, sensational" shows. Also on the roster was the Middle East debut of Michael Cerbelli's popular "Hot List," a showcase of cutting-edge technology for events.

The ILEA Middle East Chapter meets to chat.

The event continues today with more education sessions, including Part 2 of the "Hot List." MESE 2018 concludes tonight with the gala MESE Awards ceremony and party. Review the shortlisted nominees here and here.
