Special events business news this week includes a new senior sales manager at Tigerlily Events, and a new director of safety and security at GPJ.

Cassandra Mazur has been named senior sales manager for Chicago's Tigerlily Events at the Lincoln Park Zoo, a full-service catering and event-planning company specializing in corporate meetings, weddings, mitzvahs, social occasions, and large-scale special events. 

George P. Johnson, based in Auburn Hills, Mich., announced the appointment of Todd Kmentt as director of safety and security.

Las Vegas-based Caesars Entertainment Corp. announced yesterday that it is committed to reduce carbon emissions from its properties and throughout its supply chain by 30 percent by 2025 and by a total of 95 percent by 2050, from the baseline year of 2011.

Eden Prairie, Minn.-based Teneo Hospitality Group has named Tony Aslanian vice president of sales and membership.

Atlanta-based caterer Proof of the Pudding has moved to a new 36,000-square-foot-plus office space that includes office space, tasting and decor rooms, kitchen and warehouse. The state-of-the-art culinary kitchen includes a pastry kitchen, commercial smoker, chill blaster, two full kitchen lines and five walk-in coolers.
