Marriott San Antonio Airport Hotel has opened after a total re-imagining that stripped the original building down to its studs and reconfigured the entire space. Located just four minutes from the San Antonio International Airport and central to all city activity, the hotel will serve as an oasis for travelers and locals alike. The Bricton Group and The Gettys Group Corporation, leaders of the project, hope the redevelopment will posit the hotel as the new hub of San Antonio Airport’s meeting and hospitality scene. The 367-room hotel includes a variety of features, such as a grand and junior ballroom, 19 flexible meeting spaces, a state-of-the-art fitness center, an outdoor pool and terrace for events, and their indoor-outdoor bar AGAVE 210, which offers signature cocktails and Southwestern-inspired cuisine. All meeting rooms and event spaces were designed with the story of San Antonio as inspiration, naming rooms after notable neighborhoods and incorporating colors, textures, and lighting that reflect the city’s aesthetic.

Today, Catersource + The Special Event (Informa Connect companies) announces that it has donated a 2023 All Access Pass (approximate value $1800) for the March 27–30 annual event in Orlando, FL. In addition, two VIP book signings at the 2022 conference with celebrity chef Roy Choi, along with front row seats to his closing general session keynote will be auctioned. Giving back to the community that supports these conferences and tradeshows is of utmost importance.
