Hot off the Press

Bloomingdale’s has pulled out all the stops for its 2022 “Best Holiday Ever” campaign, which also continues the retail giant’s year-long 150th anniversary celebration. The flagship store in New York City—at Lexington Ave. and 59th Street—has unveiled its deluxe home base for Santa Claus. The Bloomingdale’s “Santaland” experience invites shoppers, kids and families to meet Santa in a custom-built space that merges classic and modern holiday decor with NYC iconography. Bloomingdale’s turned to Scenester Projects for the third year in a row to design and concept their iconic Santaland. To craft and install all the trimmings, Scenester worked with premier fabrication shop Pink Sparrow to bring the magic to life.

Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, will be celebrating its 700th anniversary in 2023. The city is organizing a wide plethora of events that offer the best of Lithuania’s past and present. Features of the event include a modern blend of architecture and light installations as part of the Vilnius Light Festival; the resurrection of a 17th century opera, hot-air balloon trips, musical performances, and more.
