Hyatt Centric Buckhead Atlanta is one of the city’s newest boutique hotels as of December 2021. With more than 3,700 square feet of indoor meeting space conveniently located on one level, the upscale hotel is located just steps from Lenox Square and its premier shopping destinations. All spaces have built-in wet bar areas, along with intuitive technology and floor-to-ceiling windows offering the city’s natural landscape views and lounge seating. The 15th floor indoor-outdoor rooftop lounge and bar, Spaceman, serves seasonal cocktail menus and has interior and exterior lounge-style areas complete with outdoor TVs and yard games, and floor-to-ceiling windows exposing 270-degree views of the Atlanta city skyline.

Steven M. Silverman has been named Senior Vice President of Sales for Atlantis Paradise Island in The Bahamas. In this role, Silverman will develop and lead the group and leisure transient sales team by setting goals to achieve revenue targets. Prior to his role at Diplomat Beach Resort, Silverman served as Managing Director of Sales and Marketing at El Conquistador Resort & Las Casitas Villages, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, and as Director of Sales at The Fontainebleau Hilton Resort and The Roney Palace Beach Resort. Silverman received his associate degree in business administration and management at the University of Florida before attending the New School for Social Research, where he studied culinary arts training and hotel and hospitality management.  


Christina Combs, CMP has been newly appointed Senior Sales Manager for Ohio’s Dayton Convention Center. Combs primary focus in this new role at the DCC includes maximizing revenue and creating an exceptional guest experience. In addition, she will be responsible for convention center sales for the sports, gaming, national and state association business market segments, as well as oversight of marketing efforts across all channels. Her previous role was with the Dayton Convention & Visitors Bureau, where she was a Senior Sales Manager with over nine years of experience.  Prior to the CVB, Christina served as Sales Manager for the Marriott at the University of Dayton.
