The InterContinental® Mark Hopkins San Francisco announced the extensive renovation of the iconic Peacock Court ballroom, one of the hotel’s premier event spaces. The 4,400 square foot ballroom’s interior renovation—designed by Nile Tuzun of Studio Nilebrand—includes a new palette, new wallpaper, and new drapery designs on the floor-to-ceiling windows and stage. Décor additions include three crystal chandeliers lit by 49 flameless candles; green and gold murals set by gold trim; and green velvet curtains to offset marble baseboards. The hotel offers 383 guest rooms and is located in the historic Nob Hill district.

North Carolina-based global event company The Special Event Company will once again lead the annual Academic Event Professionals (AEP) conference, to be held Oct. 16-18 in Boston on the campus of Boston University. The 2022 AEP conference marks the return of the in-person event after a hiatus during the pandemic in 2021. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Brave New World.’ Featuring a variety of keynote speakers, workshops,and break-out sessions, AEP 2022 will focus on the evolution of academic events in a post-pandemic world, with topics including how virtual, hybrid, and in-person academic events will look in the future; as well as reclaiming the role of academic events in institutional communications and strategy.


Sean "Diddy" Combs announced "The Future is Now" theme for this year's REVOLT Summit x AT&T returning to Atlanta, Ga., on September 24-25, 2022. REVOLT and AT&T have once again partnered with live entertainment and brand experience company Superfly to curate this experience, with a focus on creative development and strategy and production operations. Featuring an all-star lineup, the Summit will include panels, keynotes, and conversations from top artists. This year's immersive two-day event will focus on exploring the future of Hip Hop and culture across categories while empowering the next generation of rising future-makers. This year's Summit will introduce a new format, featuring a lineup of interactive keynotes, panel conversations, live performances, and town hall discussions with the most prominent voices shaping the future.
