Hotel de Rome announces the launch of its second rooftop terrace, "Hedwig Terrace", offering an addition to its popular 4th floor "Rooftop Terrace". Tucked away one floor above with elegant rattan lounge furniture nestled amongst lavender beds, the terrace exudes a stylish yet relaxed atmosphere delighting guests with views of some of the city's most treasured landmarks: Hedwig's Cathedral, the Berlin Cathedral, the Unter den Linden State Opera and the Red City Hall.

Bevy the only enterprise community event engine, announced the acquisition of Eventtus. The acquisition adds more than 20 engineers to the Bevy team, including Egyptian founders Mai Medhat and Nihal Fares. It also extends Bevy’s event technology stack with the addition of a mobile in-person conference app, and several other engagement tools for attendees. The National Association for Catering and Events (NACE) today announced that Kate Patay, CPCE will be presented with the association’s prestigious Icon Award. Patay will receive the award on Tuesday, August 3 during the Design Experience at the 2021 NACE Experience Conference at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nevada. The NACE Icon Award recognizes an industry professional who has made an impact through their company or personal efforts that advanced or made a significant contribution to the catering and events industry.

Main Light, LLC is happy to announce the appointment of Dave Pretz as Asset Manager. Working from Delaware, Pretz’s role will cover both Main Light, East in Wilmington, DE and the soon to open Main Light, West facility in Las Vegas, NV. His responsibilities include inventory oversight and new equipment acquisitions company wide. With 25 years of experience in the entertainment technology industry, Pretz has worked across the various market segments of concert touring, corporate trade shows, special events, and broadcast. Founded in 1981, Main Light is an industry-leading dry hire provider of entertainment technology equipment including lighting, special effects, and video to professional production companies.
