Kevin Hacke Joins The Special Event as Sales Account Executive

Longtime ILEA executive brings talents to The Special Event

The Special Event, the oldest and largest conference and trade show in the event industry, announced today that veteran event executive Kevin Hacke has joined the team as sales account executive. The Special Event 2018 will run Jan. 30 through Feb. 1 in New Orleans.

Hacke brings 13 years of event industry experience to The Special Event. In his new role, he will be responsible for exhibit and sponsorship sales, building relationships to benefit special events industry professionals, and enhancing the longtime leadership position of The Special Event conference and trade show. 

Hacke has worked with 14 international trade associations and professional societies during his career in nonprofit management. He has led diverse teams in legal/medical consulting, real-property valuation, construction and natural resources, industrial and commercial food equipment, intellectual property, and worksite health promotion, among others.  

Most recently, Hacke served as executive director for the International Live Events Association, where he worked to advance the organization, developing new and re-imagined programs and services.
