When it comes to understanding and leveraging the power of scent, Tiffany Rose Goodyear is an expert. Her groundbreaking approach to using scent to enhance experiences and events has led to collaborations with corporate clients and event planners across the nation. The result? Unparalleled engagement and storytelling in the eyes and noses of guests who enjoy Tiffany’s first-of-their-kind, fully immersive, and customized sensory-based events.

Tiffany began incorporating sensory elements into her work long before launching Scentex. While a marketing consultant, she created the first-ever scented piece of art for the Denver International Airport. Later, after opening the Denver-based catering company, Yours Truly Cupcake, she took her story-driven sensory marketing to the next level by curating branded experiences and edible libations for clients like Neiman Marcus, Pernod Ricard, Kate Spade, and Louis Vuitton. Her original approach gained the attention of local media outlets like Colorado Expression, Denver Life Magazine, and Denver Business Journal.

Elevate Guest Experience with the Power of Scent

Wednesday, March 29 at 2:30 p.m.

How to harness the power of scent to create truly immersive experiences and events.

The Missing Element: Elevate guest experience with the power of scent

Event planners and other experience creators typically limit the focus of their work to only four of our senses. Sight, sound, touch, and taste get a lot of attention. Using scent strategically when planning an event heightens the moment, increases awareness, changes mood making unforgettable events.

Discover how immersive experiences that stimulate all sensory receptors are more effective and memorable. Understand why creating sensory experiences for all bodies and abilities is an act of inclusion. Learn best practices to consider when thinking about incorporating fragrance.

In 2011, Shaun Gray began his wedding and event planning career. Prior to 2011, Shaun was in non-profit and political management where he was first introduced to event planning by producing press events and charity galas for a wide array of causes. Over the last decade, he has been named “Houston’s Best Wedding Planner” by multiple Houston media outlets, WeddingWire awarded him with “The Art of Being Exceptional” title, and he has received regional and state-wide awards for tablescape design, non-profit event planning, social event-planning, and of course, wedding planning.

When he's not helping his clients ‘celebrate exceptionally,’ or encouraging his colleagues to show up on short form video he's probably at a Houston Rockets game, viewing a new exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts, or enjoying the sunshine at one of my favorite Sunday Funday spots around the city. He's also the proud dog dad of a 7-year-old Rat Terrier mix rescue, Bear.

5 Tips For Showing Up On Short Form Video

 Tuesday, March 28 at 11:15 a.m.

Getting started showing up regularly on short form video with social media networks like Instagram and TikTok can be a little scary, but it doesn't have to be! Shaun recognizes that a lot of event professionals can feel that way, and as a wedding planner himself, he understands. He will be sharing his "5 Tips For Showing Up On Short Form Video" and providing example of content that works, and videos that don't. At the end of the session, he'll also take questions from the audience.
