TSE Spotlight: Fundraisers

A sneak peak of what to expect during Catersource + The Special Event

Events are back! Well, at least for the most part, but there's still one area that is still treading water to say the least: fundraisers.

Fortunately, Catersource + The Special Event will feature a lineup of speakers who can help you continue to navigate this unfamiliar territory.

If there's one thing nonprofit pros learned in 2020, it's that change is constant. As we roll into 2022, change is still occurring. Our team just happens to think that some of the changes that have occurred are great - and are here to stay. In particular, hosting great events on a virtual platform.
No more apologies about no "in person events"! Why? We've found the not-so-secret formula to transform your event on the virtual stage. Learn how to entertain, engage, and inspire your hybrid or virtual audience, all while raising significant funds for your nonprofit.
Guests in this class will experience a hybrid event while learning from event pros in coordination, production, audio visual, nonprofit consulting and auctioneers. You'll walk away knowing how to plan an event that will raise more money because you've raised the roof on your production value and organization!

Presented by Michelle Casserly  (Executive Director of Strategic Events, Hackensack Meridian Health Foundation) and Meagan O'Flaherty  (Strategic Events Manager, Hackensack Meridian Health Foundation)

The session, "What To Do With Events When Events Are The Only Thing We Are Not Allowed To Do...Lessons Learned And The New Way Forward" will dive into the innovative strategies our team used to keep on cultivating, engaging, and fundraising with supporters when traditional in-person event models were put on hold during the pandemic. We will show how we not only pivoted our fundraising events but were still able to advance major gift strategies and serve as key tools to cultivate and steward donors and prospects while increasing their connections with our organization and its mission; which was needed more than ever during the COVID-19 crisis. And then we will cover how to refocus events strategically as we adjust to the new normal and how we are taking forth those ideas and strategies to design our fundraising for post-pandemic engagement.

We can't wait to see you in California!
