The Special Event + Catersource 2021, slated for March 8-11 in Miami Beach, has announced its ambassadors: Heather Rouffe, managing partner with Boynton Beach, Fla.-based Atlas Event Rental, and Bill Hansen, founder and CEO of Bill Hansen Catering and Event Production, Coconut Grove, Fla.
Margaret Launzel-Pennes and Jenna Linnekens, both former executives with Extraordinary Events, have announced the launch of Total Brand Experience. The Los Angeles-based creative event and experiential agency will focus on diverse live and virtual events. Extraordinary Events ceased operations last month after more then 30 years in business. “It was a defining moment,” says Launzel-Pennes. “Jenna and I had events in the works that were planned for long past spring of 2020, so we decided to create an entity to support that work and also continue to do what we do best in a fresh way.” Also joining the team are Andrea Kinney and Vicki Friedman.
Renowned catering company Mitchell’s Catering and Events has rebranded as Mitchell - Castell A Fine Catered Affair. The company is based in Raleigh, N.C.
