Business news this week includes a new director of sales at the Naples Beach Hotel and a major rental inventory auction.

The Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club in Naples, Fla., has named David Tyler as director of sales and marketing.

Big Singapore-based DMC Pacific World---included on the latest Special Events “25 Top DMCs”--has announced a partnership with NOSHtrekker, a cultural food experience company that connects cultures and people through local cuisine and storytelling. With the partnership, Pacific World and NOSHtrekker will offer exclusively designed itineraries for incentives and events featuring unique destination experiences for guests.

Mark Goodwin has been promoted to director of sales, catering and conference services at the Sea Pines Resort in Hilton Head, S.C.

Tamara Duffy has been named sales director for Kansas City, Mo.-based Bishop-McCann. She will be based in the company’s New York office.

Michael Klein will take the post of director of food and beverage at JW Marriott Nashville [Tenn.], slated to open this summer.

OFD Consulting, based in Richmond, Va., has hired Alexis Richards as a wedding publicist.  Richards will oversee media relations for several national and global accounts, as well lend support to the wedding PR membership site OFD Collective. 

Brad Gambrell has joined the Levy Conventions team as executive chef at the Huntington Convention Center and the Global Center for Health Innovation, both located in Cleveland

Big DMC group ACCESS Destination Services, based in San Diego, announced that it has partnered with a group of investors in acquiring a majority stake in the ACCESS brand and its destination management companies in San Diego, Los Angeles, northern California, Las Vegas and Arizona. The management team at ACCESS will continue to lead the organization and maintain significant equity ownership in the company, the team said. "Our team structure and--more importantly--the commitments that we have to our partners and customers will not change,” said Jennifer Miller, who was named chief executive officer of ACCESS. Longtime owner Chris Lee will take the role of chairman emeritus.
