Merger = MC[superscript]2 In July, two marketing event and trade show companies-Creative Management Services, based in St. Louis, and Lincoln Studios, based in New York-merged forces to create MC[superscript]2. The combined event management company has 250 employees and will bring in approximately $100 million in annual sales revenue, the newly created company reports.

Steve Dix, founder and CEO of CMS, was named CEO of MC[superscript]2, which will be headquartered in St. Louis. Its other facilities are in Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Las Vegas, New Orleans, New York and Orlando, Fla.

According to Tom Cortese, MC[superscript]2's senior vice president of marketing, the companies will become operating divisions of MC[superscript]2, and each founding company will continue to operate as is, with no changes in management or personnel.

MC[superscript]2's capabilities include conceptual development, event and meeting management and production, and exhibit and marketing environment design. Of the merger, Dix says that MC[superscript]2 is immediately positioned to provide an even wider array of high quality services.
