TSE 09 Show Floor Preview

In addition to education sessions and social events, The Special Event 2009 in San Diego will offer attendees a trade show filled with innovative new event products and services. Here’s a sneak preview:

Encourage guests to pull up a chair and have a good time with new rental seating options. The Chameleon Chair Collection (Booth 1503) offers the Blak line, which features sleek, glossy finishes; cushions are available in an array of colors.
For durable seating options, check out Commercial Seating Products’ (Booth 537) new line of Max metal ballroom chairs. The series offers three styles: Chiavari, Rose and Natalie. The steel frames are completed with a hand-brushed antique bronze finish.

American Furniture Rentals (Booth 411) introduces its Infinity Collection, featuring lighted furniture. The collection includes bars, pub tables, cocktail tables and end tables; pedestals are also available. The furniture features brushed aluminum finishes; LED lighted mirrors give the line its glow.

For the perfect cocktail reception or party piece, visit Taylor Creative at Booth 1148. The company offers a new modular snack bar made of molded polyethylene. The modern, curved bar is equipped with internal lighting; six pieces make a full circle while three pieces make a half-circle.

JRM Chemical (Booth 936) is introducing its Deco Beads in a new, larger size; the jumbo beads expand up to three-fourths of an inch when added to water. The beads are ideal for floral displays; one ounce of product will produce more than six quarts of sparkling, translucent beads.

Flyboy Naturals (Booth 1418) offers 100 percent natural, freeze-dried rose petals. The eco-friendly flowers are ideal for anniversaries and weddings.

Accent Decor (Booth 1725) presents European black glass vases in various shapes and sizes. The vases, which are available in clear or white, stand 40 inches tall.
Create a scenic background with Backdrops Beautiful’s (Booth 325) new selection of lightweight, fire-retardant backdrops. The company custom-paints backdrops for rental as well as for purchase.

PBG Event Productions (Booth 425) presents illuminated linen, a line of wireless, light-up linen made of battery-operated fiber-optic fabric. The collection includes chair jackets, overlays, runners, place mats, pillows and clothing. Several trims and five LED color options are available.

Baytex USA (Booth 420) offers a basic leg drape to upgrade tent interiors. The high-quality white, 150-denier fabric is 70 inches wide and includes a matching leg tie. A variety of colors is available to suit any season or theme.
Ready to be used just like conventional taffeta, Robert Fountain’s (Booth 1506) printed velon allows planners to customize their events with a choice of size, color, pattern and logo. The printed velon is ideal for covering bars, buffets and captain stations; the product is reusable, washable and waterproof.

Holo-Walls (Booth 1115) has launched its new Aqua series Liquid Fusion floor system. The tiles are filled with two opposing colored liquids in a blue and dark blue pattern; this combination creates the illusion of walking or dancing on water. The lightweight modular tiles are made of two sheets of PVC and feature an anti-slip surface.

Mobile Music Plus (Booth 636) will be the life of your party with a multimedia experience offering DJ-spun dance songs and a library of 15,000 videos. Rare, hard-to-find video footage is available.

Airstar (Booth 1225) will introduce a spinning lighting balloon; the units can be mounted on telescopic stands or placed on the ground. The cover of the balloon is in constant motion; messages, branding and logos can be seen throughout event spaces.

Beautify your tent! Presenting custom tent printing, Celina (Booth 106) offers a high-quality print process designed to meet all design needs. Custom tent graphics can be placed on any size tent top; the wide-format, high-resolution digital process offers UV protection.
