The latest acoustic innovation from Staging Concepts, a leading provider of portable staging solutions and equipment, is proof that big things come in smaller packages. Offering great value and acoustic performance, the new Caprice™ Folding Acoustical Shell Tower is strategically engineered to fit within a standard doorway for convenient transport and easy placement in lower height storage areas. Previewed at the LDI Show in late 2021, Caprice is now widely available for performance venues of all kinds. Designed with student operators in mind, Caprice is easy and safe to manipulate thanks to a pivoting T-handle control bar and integrated gas spring assistance that engages when folding the unit. As the tower begins to fold down, the gas spring activates to stop the movement and allow for operator clearance before slowly completing its descent. Built with all-aluminum frames, Caprice towers are considerably lighter weight than conventional steel options. Each tower is also equipped with four swivel casters for ease of movement and positioning.

Sanctuary Camelback Mountain, A Gurney’s Resort & Spa has been named the number one hotel in Arizona by the editors of U.S. News & World Report in their Best Hotels list, revealed today. The 2022 ranking—the twelfth annual by the prestigious national news team—also placed Sanctuary among the top hotels in the United States. Thousands of hotels were researched for this year’s ranking, and the U.S. News & World Report editorial team employed dozens of data points and an unbiased approach to calculate the 2022 list. In total, more than 35,000 luxury properties across 400-plus destinations in the United States, Europe, Bermuda, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean were evaluated. The editors’ methodology considered a hotel’s star rating, expert and guest sentiment collected through distinguished travel publications, and TripAdvisor user scores.

AREA15, Las Vegas’ immersive art, events and entertainment district announces the launch of “LIFTOFF” – a panoramic skyline experience. Manufactured by Aerophile, the world leader in balloon flight, LIFTOFF represents the first of its kind built in the United States. The monumental new attraction debuted at an invitation-only event where live performers, pyrotechnic displays and original music compositions by Dale Fleischman entertained guests. Inspired by aeronauts and aviators seeking the exhilaration of flight and vistas only high-altitude vantage points offer, the imbibe-and-ride experience begins at the base of the attraction’s triple-helix tower in the LIFTOFF Lounge, a full-service bar. There, “Gilly,” a 21-foot-long and 16-foot-high original steel sculpture by Las Vegas artist Orion Fredericks, greets guests. Before boarding, riders can choose from a selection of beer, wine and cocktails, as well as alcohol-free options, which they may enjoy aboard the ride. They will then be strapped into LIFTOFF’s 16-seat gondola before ascending to the 130-foot summit for a 360-degree panoramic view of the Las Vegas Strip and surrounding areas.
