15|40 Brings TV Worlds to Life

Get inspired by some of the latest immersive activations

One product of the pandemic has been immersive experiences that bring popular TV shows to life, and 15|40 Productions is one company creating these fantasy worlds.

15|40 is an award-winning event marketing production company with a world-renowned client roster that includes Netflix, Disney, Hulu, Amazon and Apple (just to name a few). They’ve produced some of most interactive B2C and B2B activations, including these recent activations: #OnlyMurdersInTheBuilding Experience, Stranger Things 3 Premiere, and Welcome to Chippendales. Let’s take a look at the photos from these creative activations.

#OnlyMurdersInTheBuilding Experience

At the #OnlyMurdersInTheBuilding Experience, attendees were given a glimpse inside the show’s fictional locations of Third Arm Gallery, The Arconia, and more as they tried to answer the show’s burning question: “Who Killed Bunny?”

The Third Arm Gallery hosted some of the most famous art pieces from the show, which were sponsored by Rare Beauty, lead actress Selena Gomez’s beauty brand. As they made their way through the space, attendees moved through the show’s spaces and participated in fun activities.

Stranger Things 3 Premiere

15|40 brought the world of Hawkins from the hit series Stranger Things to life by taking over the iconic Tower Records on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood and building out an immersive fan experience, complete with giveaways, photo ops, recreated sets from the series, actors, and loads of Instagrammable moments! Every little detail made this pop-up experience an 80s time warp that took fans into their favorite world.

More than recreating set pieces, this experience took fans through the world of Stranger Things and the new places introduced is Season 3. Each location provided a glimpse into the show’s world and some photo opportunities to show off their time. A maze of mirrors led fans into the ST3 creative where they got an epic photo of themselves superimposed into the key art from the series.

Welcome to Chippendales

Roccos WeHo in Santa Monica is the site where this immersive experience was set. 15|40 partnered with Hulu to bring to life the world of Chippendales. Based on the original series from Hulu, this immersive experience took fans on a journey back to the 80s. This three-day experience included male dancers and era-specific décor. Attendees were given a one-hour show which took them through the beginning of how Las Vegas-based Chippendales got its start.
