Special events news this week includes the recapitalization of BBJ Linen

The New York Hilton Midtown has appointed Craig Burdick as director of food and beverage.

Private equity firm Dubin Clark and Co. has announced the recapitalization of big linen firm BBJ Linen, headquartered in Chicago. Doron Levy will remain active at BBJ as its CEO. A year and half ago, Dubin Clark recapitalized big party rental company Peterson Party Center.

Framework Meetings and Destinations of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, has named Christina Petit as meeting and event manager.

Celebrity wedding planning company Yifat Oren and Associates, based in Los Angeles, has rebranded to Oren Cove Productions.

IMN Solutions of Arlington, Va., has appointed Claudia Maurer, CEM, as vice president of strategic accounts.

The Claremont Club and Spa in Oakland, Calif., has named Nichole Dupre as director of sales and marketing.

Big DMC AXS Group of Denver has launched its production and entertainment division headed up by director Joseph Bearss. The team consists of entertainment and creative producer Megan Nitschke, design and creative producer John Gillette, and entertainment producer Jordan Roedding. Also, John Collins has been promoted to director of operations at AXS.

Jennifer Hunter has been named an account executive at Los Angeles based Form Decor.

British event production agency She's Gott It Events has launched an entertainment booking arm.
