VISUALS & VIBE: The Europeanthemed park offers a mix of Old World ambiance and modern attractions, with quaint shops and more than 50 rides. The park is divided into areas representing six European countries: England, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Italy and France, with each “country” offering a variety of event spaces.

EVENT AREAS: In “Germany,” the 23,600-square-foot Das Festhaus replicates an authentic German beer hall and can accommodate 2,000 for receptions and 1,000 for dinner; the four groves of the Black Forest picnic area each provide space for 200 guests. In “England,” the 2,195-square-foot Globe Theatre Lobby can accommodate 300 for receptions and 100 for dinners.

SPECIAL SPACE: The “Ireland” section of the park re-creates an authentic Irish village, complete with traditional pubs and a castle. The largest dining room at Grogan's Pub can accommodate 150 for receptions and 80 for sit-down events. Event guests can also attend a seminar at the Anheuser-Busch Beer School, where they will learn beer-making tips from master brewers.

VISUALS & VIBE: Founded in 1843, Tivoli Gardens is part amusement park, part beautifully landscaped garden. In addition to rides and arcade games, the venue offers several open-air squares and performance stages. The park has become a popular spot for arts events such as plays and concerts as well as for conferences and meetings.

EVENT AREAS: The park covers more than 944,000 square feet in downtown Copenhagen. The Glass Hall can accommodate 1,000 guests; Hans Christian Andersen Castle can accommodate up to 200. Many restaurants, ranging from casual to elegant, are also available for private events.

SPECIAL SPACE: The 1,650-seat Concert Hall is a staple of the city's music scene, and has featured performances by some of the biggest names in popular music, including Duke Ellington and Elton John; it has also served as the venue for conferences and exhibitions.

VISUALS & VIBE: DisneyQuest is an indoor, interactive theme park covering 100,000 square feet on five floors. The park's attractions are a combination of Disney magic and state-of-the-art virtual technology. Located near other attractions such as world-class shopping and the Pleasure Island nighttime entertainment complex, DisneyQuest is a popular venue for receptions, small meetings and incentive events.

EVENT AREAS: The Pinnacle Room, located on the venue's top floor, can accommodate 300 guests for receptions and 120 for seated events.

SPECIAL SPACE: The entire park can be rented out for events attended by up to 1,400 guests. Themed areas include the Score Zone, where guests can test their game-playing prowess against virtual superhero opponents; the Explore Zone, an adventure where guests become part of their favorite Disney stories; and the Replay Zone, which features classic carnival rides and games in a futuristic setting on the moon.

VISUALS & VIBE: Located on the historic Santa Monica [Calif.] Pier, Pacific Park is reminiscent of amusement parks of old, affording guests the opportunity to take in sweeping views of the California coastline and Pacific Ocean while enjoying classic rides and games, including a nine-hole mini-golf course. Carnival-style food carts sell such perennial favorites as ice cream, cotton candy and pretzels.

EVENT AREAS: The entire park covers two acres and has a guest capacity of 2,250. Two covered areas are available: the 2,200-square-foot Seaside Cabana, which can accommodate 225 guests for receptions; the 2,250 Pier Pavilion has a reception capacity of 250.

SPECIAL SPACE: The Pier Pavilion and Seaside Cabana can be combined for a reception capacity of 475 and seated capacity of 375. Events such as company picnics, fund-raisers, wrap parties and movie premieres have all been held at the park.

RIDE WITH A VIEW: The park features the world's first solar-powered Ferris wheel, which lifts riders 130 feet in the air and offers panoramic views of the Los Angeles area.
